From Assessment to building a Corporate Foresight Organization at a luxury goods manufacturer
Situation
The aim of this project was to assess corporate foresight capabilities with a particular focus on technology foresight and to design a corporate foresight system which includes the definition of a suitable team size, team member roles, methods and tools.
Approach
We started with an assessment of the organization’s future orientation. For this purpose, we spent two days with various interviews on-site and ran a workshop. After that we developed the target design and supported the organization with the implementation of the target design which also encompassed in-house trainings.
Results
Together with us, the luxury good manufacturer managed to establish a scouting team and launch a first pilot for a technology scan. Moreover, a technology radar system has been implemented. New opportunities have been identified and are pursued.
